The pcProx Read/Write Contactless Software Developer Kit (SDK) allows independent developers to give their application the ability to read and write information directly to contactless smart cards. It offers the following:
The SDK is full-featured and easy to integrate. The Kit fully supports the USB or RS-232 desktop read/write reader with software examples in C++, and Visual Basic. All platforms and card formats are supported.

The pcProx Writer comes in models for either the USB or RS-232 port. The reader/writer allows developers complete access to HID's iCLASS or NXP's MIFARE contactless read/write cards. High-level routines allow developers to immediately begin support the iCLASS/MIFARE product lines.
Using the comprehensive SDK, software developers give their application the ability to read or write to any iCLASS/MIFARE contactless card. Independent applications include IT security, cashless vending, medical record storage, access control, biometrics, enrollment readers, card verification, single sign-on, employee identification and tracking, time and attendance, and more. The SDK comes complete with source code examples in C++ , VB and API support for .NET.
Complete USB and RS-232 support through a DLL file is provided for Windows 98, NT (RS-232c only), XP, 7, Vista platform support.
